Professor of Entrepreneurship and Strategy

Catherine Wang is Professor of Entrepreneurship and Strategy at Brunel Business School, Brunel University London and Director of the Centre for Entrepreneurship and Sustainability at Brunel University London. Previously, she worked at Royal Holloway, University of London and Oxford Brookes University. Prior to joining academia, Catherine worked in industry for over seven years in the UK and China, in the areas of small business support and consultancy and international trade and investment.

Catherine's research leadership and esteem factors also include editorship of several books on entrepreneurial learning and research methodology in strategy. She currently serves on several journal editorial boards, including British Journal of Management and International Journal of Management reviews, and was a Co-Editor of the European Journal of Innovation Management. She also serves on the ESRC evaluation panels, and evaluates grant applicants for research councils in the US, Portugal, Finland, the Netherlands, and Kazakhstan.
